Rebecca Siegel

Actor, Playback Instructor, Company Manager

Rebecca is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Drama Therapist, theatre artist, and Company Manager and Actor of the Living Arts Playback Theatre Ensemble. She works in private practice as a therapist, and has worked as a drama therapist in hospitals with adolescents and adults with eating disorders, incarcerated men at San Quentin State Prison, and served as Assistant Director for the Shakespeare for Social Justice Theatre Troupe, featuring a cast of formerly incarcerated actors and artists. She is also a director of autobiographical therapeutic performances at the Living Arts Counseling Center, and for drama therapy students graduating from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Rebecca has a MA in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a BA in Theatre, where she founded and directed a guerrilla theatre company, Acting Activism, with a social justice focus.
